air powered bikes

The high population of India makes for the pollution to be high as well. So, if there is any place on Earth where electric vehicles are needed, then it’s there.
Aware of this situation, a handful of engineering students in Palwal City, Haryana state have conceived an oxygen-run motorbike, which they claim is a discovery in the field.
One of the students, Pratham Pal explains why the vehicle brings something new: “The air is compressed and transferred to the engine without any combustion. The piston reciprocates from the air pressure leading to an up-down movement, making the flywheel run and the bike move.”
According to its inventors, the challenge behind this motorbike was to obtain a matching thrust of blast inside the engine in lack of any combustion. The speed of the bike is of 6 to 12 mph while covering 370 miles and the amount of oxygen would be of 100 liters of 300 PSI.
